(October 2019) Request for Buncombe County, NC school inspections liability info.
Hello Buncombe County Schools,
I’d like to make a public records request for the following information related to school inspections liability info:
1. Are all jobs (electrical, plumbing, havoc, building) done in Buncombe County Schools required to be inspected by the Buncombe County Inspections Department?
2. Are licenses required to turn jobs in to the inspection department?
3. Is liability insurance required to do work in our schools?
4. Who is the director of maintenance in the Buncombe County Schools, and does he carry any licenses that are required by state law?
Please provide the most up to date information as of 10/31/19 (or the date on which the request is processed).

No. Only certain types of jobs require inspection per state law.2. Are licenses required to turn jobs in to the inspection department? Yes, Licenses are required to be turned in.
3. Is liability insurance required to do work in our schools? Yes, and we are insured.
4. Who is the director of maintenance in the Buncombe County Schools, and does he carry any licenses that are required by state law? Clark Wyatt. Yes.
