I would like to make a public records request for the following information about the City of Asheville’s (if applicable) as well as the Asheville Police Department’s military leave policy:
Specifically, I’d like to know how long a City employee is permitted to be employed in the military and stay employed by the City. I’d also like to know within what radius of the police department employees are required to live in order to remain employed.
The requested information should include any policies or relevant documentation of the City’s military leave policies from 10/01/18 – 10/02/19.
