[See Editor’s Note] (September 2019) City of Asheville Employee Conduct-2nd Request {Duplicate}

Hello City of Asheville,

I would like to make a second request for the City of Asheville’s policy on employee conduct / misconduct and internal investigations.

Policies specifically addressing employees who have been charged with a criminal offense, who have a 50B taken out on them (and how it affects their job when serving the public as a first responder), and the protocol for an employee’s criminal conviction. Any information pertinent to these topics would be greatly appreciated.

This timeline for this information should apply to January 01, 2019 - Dec. 31, 2019.

I would like to receive this information before 10/1/19.

Thank you for your assistance!

Editor’s Note: Sunshine Request makes no claim as to the veracity of any statements or information contained in any of the requests, or public records, we receive.

Editor’s Note 09/13/19: The above request has been marked as “Completed.”

This is a duplication of an “Open” August request (currently in “Sent to Government” status) submitted by Sunshine Request to the City of AVL on 08/26/19:

Please keep track of the status of the request here.

RE: “I would like to receive this information before 10/1/19.”

Please note that Sunshine Request does not control when Government entities confirm the start or completion of processing requests we submit to them through our website.

Sunshine Request is a small team. On our end, we do our best to review and send in requests to the appropriate entities as quickly as we are able, and it is up to the Government agency to determine the timeline and speed with which the request can be processed.

We will be following up on the original request next week to confirm that it is being processed.

Thank you for using Sunshine Request!
