“the educational degrees an employee earns are not included on the list of items open to public inspection; therefore, in response to your request, that is not information we as a district will be able to provide.”
This response will likely also apply to a request to know “what educational programs they are enrolled in”, as well.
The revised request we could send to AVL City schools would read as follows:

I’d like to make a public records request for the following information:
Please provide a list of all Central Office employees as of 03/10/21 (or the date the query is performed).

** However – We do not want to guess at the alternate records the sender may want to receive, but we do feel that it might be unlikely they are interested in just a list of Central Office employee names. Therefore, we’d ask that the sender please reconsider the request, and revise /resubmit a different request if they are interested.
