Editor’s Note: Sunshine Request makes no claim as to the veracity of any statements or information contained in any of the requests, or public records, we receive.
Editor’s Note 04/09/21: We recently received 10 submissions requesting nearly identical (and in many cases, identical) information about various Salisbury, NC employee emails and texts.
We have reviewed the contents of each request, and in order to simplify things we have “Closed” them all – We have merged them into one mutli-part request, below.
In the case of Daniel Landcaster, this was the only employee listed where the requester indicated a different start date (07/01/19), that did not match all other employees listed (start date 07/01/20 or 07/02/20). We will assume this was an error, and will be requesting all responsive info beginning on 07/01/20.
The request we send to Salisbury, NC Gov will read as follows:
Subject: (April 2021) Request for City of Salisbury, NC employee(s) emails 07/01/20 – 04/02/21
Message:
Hi City of Salisbury, NC Government (Records Officer),
I’d like to make a multi-part, public records request for the following information.
This is 10 requests total. However, for simplicity I’ve sent them as 1 large request here. To keep things organized (and hopefully to avoid any confusion), I’d ask that you please respond to each of the 10 items, using the same email chain with Sunshine Request, until the request has been completed. Please do not create 10 separate communication threads to track. Thank you!
