(September 2021) Multi-part request for BCSO new employees, all employees, positions filled / vacancies

Hello Buncombe County, NC Sherrif's Office (Records Officer),

I'd like to make a multi-part public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law:

A. Please provide a list of all BCSO employees (including sworn and non-sworn employees) who were employed by the Buncombe County Sheriffs Office on, or after January 01, 2021. Please include full name, position / title, and date of hire.

** Note: This is not intended to be a request for "All Employees" in general. I am specifically interested in "... a list of all New Employees who began employment, or were reassigned employment, with BCSO any time from 01/01/21 to present day (date the query is performed)."


B. Please provide a list of ALL Bunc. Co. Sheriff's Office Employees as of 08/11/2021 (or on the date the query is performed).

Please include:

- Employee's name
- Employee's current salary
- Employee's current rank, title, and assignment (division / department)
- Employee's last date of promotion


C. Please provide a list of all "allocated positions filled or vacant" as of 08/11/2021 (or on the date the query is performed).


** If you are unable to fill any or all parts of these requests, please cite specifically where a reason for denial is justified under NC Public Records Law. **
