(September 2021) Request for Buncombe County, NC: Demographic data for deaths due to Covid-19 from 01/01/21 – 08/12/21

Hi Buncombe County Health Department (and Kassi / Buncombe County Government CC'd),

I'd like to make a multi-part public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.
If this information is already publicly available online or in some other format, please send me a link:

A1) Please provide the total number of deaths in Buncombe County, NC due to Covid-19 during the specific time period of 01/01/21 through 08/12/21.

A2) Additionally -- Please provide that same information broken down by the following data points:
Race, Ethnicity, Age, Gender, Date of death.

Please do not include any other personally identifiable information beyond those specific data points.

Regarding the records request, please note, that this request asked for all deaths filed “IN” Buncombe County. Many of these deaths represent individuals with a county of residence outside of Buncombe County. Please send that note to requestor.
