Hello Henderson County, NC Public Schools (Records Officer),

I'd like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.

Please provide the Names, Salaries, and Benefits for ALL Henderson County / Hendersonville, NC Public Schools employees for the 2022-23 school year (as of the date the query is performed).

    There is not a record that includes the information you are requesting. It would take going person by person to calculate and verify the information. We did add a note to the bottom of the records request that shares “All employees receive a local salary supplement calculated at 6.75% of earnings for classified and 9% for certified staff.” We will endeavor to respond as promptly as possible but review and calculation will take time. If you would like to alter your request to improve the reasonable response time please feel free to do so.

    Thanks again for sending the document back on January 30. I added it to our website at that time.

     

    However, I’d like to ask again for some additional clarification. I have not hear back about this since my email on 01/31:

     

    This September 2022 request asked for “Names, Salaries, and Benefits for ALL Henderson County / Hendersonville, NC Public Schools employees for the 2022-23 school year (as of the date the query is performed).”

     

    The document you provided only lists employee name and salary. Can you please clarify why the “benefits” have not been provided? Has that info been rolled into the salary total?

     

    If this information is already publicly available online for all employees, then please provide a link to where it can be accessed. Otherwise, please provide benefits as requested, or please resend an updated document.
